NEW AGE YOGA INSTITUTE · PRACTICE NOTES
At NAYI, yoga is approached as more than a collection of physical postures. Its tradition connects body, breath, mind and spirit, inviting us to consider how practice relates to everyday living.
Since August 1994, the institute has connected traditional knowledge with modern methods of teaching. The intention is to make learning part of life: movement, food, recreation, reflection and meditation all have a place in that conversation.
A practice within an ordinary week
A regular class can provide structure. The rest of the week offers opportunities to notice how we move and where we place our attention. These are personal observations, not another task to perform perfectly.
Explore formal breathwork and cleansing practices with a qualified teacher, rather than treating a short article as an instruction manual. A teacher can explain context, suitability and the purpose of what you are learning.
Begin with a direction that feels right
Classical Yoga brings several elements of traditional practice together. Infinite Mind focuses on pranayam and meditation. Specialised programmes provide a way to discuss particular needs with the institute’s teaching team.
Online, offline and hybrid formats make different kinds of participation possible. The first step is a conversation about your experience, intention and available time.
